Hello! Happy Sunday!
As I said in the last blog post, we should be making the most of the now 172 days left of the year - to the best of our abilities. For me that has meant really digging in and finding my artist identity. For those of you who have been following me for several years now most likely know, my style can change a lot. Some of the themes and imagery consistently appears (hello rainbows!), but I am working to hone that in. As an elementary art teacher I teach a lot of different materials, techniques, and styles that had been creeping into my work throughout the years. But not anymore! I know the direction I am headed in and I could not be more excited for it! In the mean time, that means I need to sell a majority of my current inventory to make room for new works. I have been posting pieces at discounted prices and bundle deals for series works on Instagram Stories. For those of you who follow me there, I have created a Highlight titled Available Art so you can check them out past their 24 hour time limit. I'm also shipping them for free in the US! This is a great chance for you to get an original at a really great price! The artwork listed on my website has also been discounted (use code FREESHIPPINGJULY2020 at checkout OR schedule a time to pick up the piece in person). On August 1st any paper pieces will be removed from the website and shelves of the studio to be stored in a flat file until open studios for browsing. All canvas and cradled wood pieces will be gessoed over to start fresh. Sometimes new beginnings come in the middle of the year!
Commissions are still up and running too!
And, here are the jams that have been filling my studio space so far in July.
